The average
temperatures
in places where temperate rainforests grow, is between 4 and 12 degrees
C.
But these forests still need more rain than other
temperate
forests.
The rainfall
in temperate rainforests is about 1400mm a year.
As opposed to tropical
rainforests, which grow in areas with minimal
seasonal changes, temperate rainforests grow in much higher latitudes.
In these latitudes, there are large seasonal
changes in daylight and temperatures.
