Many of the birds on Borneo rainforests are endemic.

A lot of bird watchers love the island.






Some Borneo bird species include Grey Imperial-pigeon, Short-tailed Frogmouth, Rajah Scops-owl, White-fronted Falconet, Black-browed Babbler, Mountain Wren-babbler, Bare-headed Laughingthrush, Everett's Thrush, Black-breasted Fruithunter, Whitehead's Broadbill, Hose's Broadbill, Friendly Bush-warbler, Bornean Stubtail, Silvery Pigeon, Mantanani Scops-owl, Bornean Barbet, Golden-naped Barbet, Black Oriole, Mountain Blackeye, Pygmy White-eye, Whitehead's Spiderhunter, Black-sided Flowerpecker, Bornean Whistler, Eyebrowed Jungle-flycatcher, Javan White-eye, Black-capped White-eye, Sunda Laughingthrush, Blue-wattled Bulbul, Chestnut-crested Yuhina, Mountain Barbet, Whitehead's Trogon, Dulit Frogmouth, Crimson-headed Partridge, Red-breasted Partridge, Mountain Serpent-eagle, Bornean Bristlehead and Bulwer's Pheasant.
